President Cristina in the Congress: "Aerolíneas Argentinas has grown since 2008 in flights, passengers"

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner highlighted the growth of flag -carrier Aerolineas Argentinas, after its way-back to the State administration, in flights, passengers and incomes.
In time, she remarked the "downturn" as for the funds it demanded from the National Treasury and the Congress budget for its operation, thanks to a "successful administration" of the National State.

"Aerolineas Argentinas, that airline that we took over in 2008, in full bankruptcy, has grown since 2008 in flights 102 percent, 80 percent in passengers and 71 percent in revenues. This was so, because it has been negotiated successfully", said the Chief of State during her message to the Legislative Assembly in opening of the 133 congressional period .

She reminded that "the fleet value passed from US$ 342 million to US$ 1.635 million", that the quantity of domestic flights increased totalling 36 and the international flights are 24.

Besides, three corridors have been opened up so those travelling do not have to make a stop over in Buenos Aires to reach their destinations.
