President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner anticipated that the National Government "will request the US Judge Thomas Griesa to establish the conditions to reach an agreement for the 100 percent of the creditors."

"We want conditions so Argentina can negotiate" with the vulture funds, said President Cristina Fernandez, following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that confirmed their court claims against Argentina, regarding the bondholders who failed to join the 2005 and 2010 debt swaps.

"Argentina wants to comply with 100 percent of the creditors, but we require negotiation conditions that are fair according to the Argentine Constitution," she said.

"As always, Argentina will be ready to dialogue," Cristina added. "We have given evidences that we are people capable of sitting to negotiate."

The President assured that she intends to comply with her duties, in the realm of the Constitution and the laws.

"For me it would be very easy to promise anything, as did those who preceded Nestor Kirchner, but do not count on me to do so, because I shall do my duty and comply with my obligations and with my Fatherland."

Cristina finally urged her countrymen "to overcome political and ideological discrepancies and to think first in the Argentine Republic and in their own children".
