Cristina suspended her trip to Paraguay due to a laryngitis condition
The President has suspended today all her activities, informed a Government House communiqué.
Following a recommendation from her physicians, President Cristina Fernández has suspended today all her activities, including a scheduled visit to Paraguay, due to a laryngitis condition, informed a Government House communiqué.
"President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner presented today an acute case of laryngitis. Besides from requiring the corresponding treatment and the control on its evolution, she was recommended to observe a 24-hour rest," reads the communiqué.
"Due to this situation, the President had to suspend her activities scheduled for today and the trip to Paraguay she was to make tonight," says the medical bulletin, issued by doctors Marcelo Ballesteros and Daniel Fernández, of the Presidential Medical Unit.
Meanwhile, Presidential spokesman Alfredo Scoccimarro informed that the trip to Paraguay would be rescheduled for mid August.
